Help me about REST !Thank U !

Hi,teacher Yan,after the acquired data being processed by DPARSF,a RESULT folder containing FCresult is obtained,I want do some FC research such as One sample T test,but there is a button 'Mask File',I do not know how to use this button,please explain to me?
Another question,only Voxel-wise ROI can be finished in DPARSF?Then if I want do ROI-wise ,how can I realize?
Last question,why do we extract ROI?Is it necessary ?

Hi!
1. 'Mask File': you can leave it blank. REST Statistical Analysis will skip the voxels with all the values of 0 (outside brain). Or you can choose {RESTDIR}/mask/BrainMask_05_61x73x61.img
2. For ROI-wise FC in DPARSF, please refer to http://www.restfmri.net/forum/node/673#comment-1111
3. If you want to perform ROI-wise FC with DPARSF, then it's needed. Or if you want to extract ROI time series to perform some further analysis.
