Respected teacher:
From the past topic I found some information "The following parameters are what we are using on a SIEMENS 3T trio scanner. 33 axial slices, thickness/gap = 3.5/0.6 mm, in-plane resolution = 64 × 64, TR = 2000 ms, TE = 30 ms, flip angle = 90, FOV = 200 × 200 mm, volumes = 240 (480 s). I strongly recommend that the RS-fMRI session is placed before the task sessions.",and I have some questiones as follows.
No.1:Does Rs-fMRI have standard parameters?and what`s the key to choose the parameters?
No.2:today I have scanned a BOLD for the first time,I find I have not understood the difference of TW1_3D and EPI,there are more than 2 thousand pictures, how many pictures usually does TW1_3D and EPI respectively have?
I am a novice in rs-fmri,I am looking forward to your replies。
How to choose the suitable parameters of TW1_3D and EPI on Philips 3.0T MR?

Re: How to choose the suitable parameters of TW1_3D and EPI ...
1. The scanning parameters for TRIO is not new. Please refer to new papers.
2. No optimized RS-fMRI scanning parameters. Most scanners now can obtain upto 40 slices with TR = 2s.
2. 3D-T1 usually has up to 200 slices (files). But the EPI-BOLD depends. Some scanners take each slice as a single file, some take each volume (a timepoint of brain) as a file.
